Born and raised in the Basque Country, Josu Badiola graduated from the School of Design in Donostia (San Sebastian) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design with an ever present passion for fashion and visual arts.
Wishing to develop personally and professionally, Josu moved to the United States in 1994 where he immediately got involved with sales, fashion and the highest visual standards offered at Gucci – working up the ranks to management responsibilities.
In 1999 Josu transitioned into interior design through an opportunity at Holly Hunt where he was exposed to simply the best in the Interior Design business developing and flourishing in this environment. Client and showroom management became his focus during his time there.
Understanding that learning is key to the interior design industry, Josu traveled extensively throughout the USA and Europe to acquire insider knowledge in product development and design – eventually changing his base to London in 2003.
With the determination to bring the most special and latest trends to the interior architecture and design scene, Josu Badiola set up the Interior Architecture Agency which bears his name. Josu Badiola fosters personal relationships with each of the designers he represents, and more importantly shares the same creative passions, design aesthetics and exacting quality standards.

I feel very passionate about equal rights, regardless of who you are, as long as you do not cause any harm to anyone else.
As a gay man, married to my long term partner, I have personally been exposed to international discrimination that has caused a huge impact in our lives; having to take decisions and actions that have impacted immensely the course of our journey together.
I truly believe that every responsible adult, without exception of who you are or where you come from, must have the same opportunities and freedom in the world.
